November 2020 News

Resilience and Garlic Ice-cream

This past month we've been chatting about resilience - alot - in many different contexts. And it's part of our Highlands and Islands Regional Event coming up on 5th Dec where we can all learn about improving climate conversations and build the strength and effectiveness of our network.
There are also many food projects going on, all again, improving our ability to cope with the changes that are coming along.

We've also got news on a wee fun pre-xmas covid safe event, news on recycling and info on how to join the Highland Teachers Climate Google Classroom.

SCCAN H&I Regional Meeting - 5th Dec

SCCAN H&I Regional Meeting

About the SCCAN Highlands & Islands Regional Event -  Sat 5th Dec between 10 & 1pm.

We are delighted to be jointly hosting this on line event with SCCAN (The Scottish Communities Climate Action Network).

This is a wonderful opportunity to not only learn more about what the Highland Council is doing regarding Climate Action but also to hear from some inspiring speakers that will be advising on
  • how to improve the effectiveness of the discussions that we have on the climate crisis and
  • how to improve our emotional resilience both individually and as a community.
The event will take place on Zoom on Saturday the 5th of December 2020 from 10am-1pm with plenty of time for discussion and networking.

All Welcome.
