Upcoming Eco Gatherings and Past Info

Carbon Chat

Weds 23rd Oct,  1pm, Lairg Learning Centre,
Coming soon  - Invercassley Store and Tea Rooms, Rosehall & Dornoch

These are informal gatherings around the place to talk through ideas and consider what we can do individually or as a group to help with carbon emissions and other planetary issues, like reducing plastic use and improving recycling. We'll be able to help to answer each others questions, share concerns and knowledge of what's going on already. We may come up with tiny changes to day to day life or larger community projects.
Please do come along or indeed, please do organise a wee group local to your village. There is no obligation to become more involved - but we do hope that you'll be inspired.

Recycling Talk at Ardgay Community Council meeting.

Mon 12th Aug, 7-8pm. Ardgay Village Hall

Imogen from the Waste Management Highland Council team will be coming along to give us a talk on where we're at and what's happening with recycling in the Highlands. Questions such as plastic recycling, what happens to our blue bin content, plastic wrapper recycling, landfill and plans for the Longman site and what we can do to help will all be covered in the talk. There will of course be time for questions too.
